Key Responsibilities:

Editing:

1. Edit video footage to create cohesive, engaging stories.
2. Collaborate with producers and directors to develop edit concepts.
3. Assemble and finalize edits using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Avid Media Composer, Final Cut Pro).

Visual Storytelling:

1. Develop visual narratives that capture audience attention.
2. Apply creative vision to enhance storytelling and pacing.
3. Ensure consistency in tone, style, and branding.

Technical Skills:

1. Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Creative Cloud, etc.).
2. Strong understanding of colour correction, audio mixing, and visual effects.
3. Familiarity with motion graphics and animation.

Collaboration and Communication:

1. Work closely with producers, directors, and writers.
2. Provide clear feedback and guidance to junior editors.
3. Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.

Project Management:

1. Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
2. Meet tight deadlines and deliver high-quality work.
3. Maintain organized files, assets, and project documentation.

Requirements:

1. 3+ years of video editing experience.
2. Portfolio showcasing creative editing skills.
3. Proficiency in industry-standard video editing software.
4. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Desirable Qualifications:

1.  Video Production, or a related field.
2. Experience with 360-degree video, VR, or AR editing.
3. Knowledge of motion graphics and animation software (e.g., After Effects).
4. Familiarity with sound design and audio post-production.
