A music industry located in Lagos is currently looking forba creative, driven and multifaceted Social Media and Music Marketing Manager to join her team and elevate their music brand to the next level.in this role, you will be responsible for developing innovative Marketing strategies, managing digital and social media presence, creating engaging content and fostering fan engagement. You will play a crucial role in building a loyal fan base, increasing exposure through playlist, generating consistent sales and managing all aspects of digital marketing and advertising.
Key Responsibilities
- Fan Engagement and Growth
- Develop and implement strategies to build a loyal fan base of super fan's and generate consistent music sales
- Design and execute a super fan funnel to convert followers into dedicated fan's and drive initial sales.
Craft competing emails to nurture new fan's and increase conversions. - Digital and Social Media Marketing
- Manage and grow the artists social media presence across all relevant platforms (e.gInstagram,Facebook,TikTok,YouTube and Twitter)
- Create ,Schedule and publish engaging content that resonates with the target content and promotional materials
Playlist Creation and Management
- Curate and manage playlists on streaming platforms such as Spotify,Apply Music,and YouTube music to increase exposure and stream numbers
- Develop strategies to pitch songs to playlists and enhance organic and paid playlist placements
- Design and create engaging playlist artwork using canva and other design tools
- Ads Campaign Management
- Plan and execute targeted ad campaigns on platforms like Facebook,Instagram,Google Ads and others to attract ideal fans and maximise engagement
- Analyze ad performance data to optimize campaigns and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs)
Content Management
- Manage digital content,Including music release ,Video ,graphics and promotional materials
- Collaborate with graphics Designer videographers and other creatives to produce high quality content.
- AI _Power Engagement
- Utilise AI power tools and artist assistants to enhance fan engagement and Streamline communication
Campaigns and Projects Management
- Plans and manage all marketing, promotional setup and technical aspects to ensure smooth execution of campaigns.
- Work closely with artist and management team to align marketing strategies with the artist brand and goals.
Qualifications
- Degree in a Related field
- Proven experience in music marketing, Digital marketing or related field.
- Strong understanding of music industry trends digital marketing strategies and fan engagement techniques
- Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g, Hootsuits Sprout SocialLast Pass)and ad platforms (e.g Facebook Ads, Google Ads)
- Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g. Mail chimp, Convertkit) and CRM tools.
- Knowledge of Spotify playlist management, music distribution and promotional strategies
- Excellent communication, copywriting and content creation skills
- Video Editing Skills: Proficiency in video editing software (e.g Adobe premiere Pro final cut Pro, CapCut)to create and edit engaging video content for social media.
- Design Skills : Proficiency in Canvas or Adobe Creative Suite for creating appealing graphics and promotional materials
- Ability to analyse data and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong project management skills and ability to work independently.
- Creative mindset with a passion for music and digital innovation
- Familiarity with AI tools for marketing and engagement.
- Basic knowledge of SEO and website analysis.
