Job Summary:

We're seeking a creative and skilled Restaurant Content Creator/Social Media Manager to develop and implement engaging content strategies for our restaurant's social media platforms. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, photography,  videos and storytelling, with experience in creating compelling content that drives customer engagement and loyalty.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation:

1. Develop and execute content strategies for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok and WhatsApp status).
2. Create high-quality visual content (photography, videography) showcasing menu items, restaurant events, and behind-the-scenes moments.
3. Write engaging captions, descriptions, and blog posts that capture the restaurant's brand voice.
4. Collaborate with chefs, bartenders, and staff to develop recipe content, cooking tutorials, and expert tips.

Social Media Management:

1. Manage and schedule posts across social media platforms using content calendars.
2. Monitor and respond to customer comments, messages, and reviews.
3. Analyze engagement metrics (likes, shares, comments) to optimize content performance.
4. Run social media contests, promotions and  engagement.

Brand Development:

1. Develop and maintain the restaurant's brand voice, tone, and visual identity.
2. Collaborate with the marketing team to integrate social media content into overall marketing strategies.
3. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, food culture, and social media best practices.

Influencer and Community Engagement:

1. Identify and partner with local influencers, bloggers, and content creators.
2. Develop relationships with local food communities, bloggers, and enthusiasts.
3. Host social media events, tastings, and workshops.

Requirements:

1. 2+ years of experience in social media marketing, content creation, or food blogging.  Experience in running Ads
2. Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and content optimization.
3. Excellent photography, videography, and editing skills.
4. Proficient in content creation tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
5. Strong writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing/HND and OND Communications, Journalism, or related field.
2. Experience with social media management tools 
3. Knowledge of SEO principles and keyword optimization.
4. Certification in social media marketing or content creation.
