Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to join our restaurant team in Ikoyi. The ideal candidate will support kitchen operations, maintain cleanliness and hygiene, and assist in food preparation under the supervision of the kitchen staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist chefs and cooks with basic food preparation
• Wash, peel, and chop vegetables and fruits
• Keep the kitchen clean and organized at all times
• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
• Ensure proper storage of food and kitchen supplies
• Assist in unloading and organizing food deliveries
• Dispose of kitchen waste properly

• Follow all food safety and hygiene standards

  Requirements:

• Minimum SSCE or equivalent
• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service role is a plus
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions
• Good physical stamina and ability to stand for long hours
• Attention to cleanliness and detail
• Must reside in or around Ikoyi or be able to commute easily

Working Hours:

Shift-based schedule, including weekends and public holidays as required.
